Sugar alone (like in cola) is bad.
Sugar as a part of the complex carbohydrates lets us 'charge our batteries' immediately (as a short carb), while medium and long carbs provide longer lasting effects.
Low Sugar version has no added protein (it has enough of it from Rice & Hemp seeds).
